First of all I want to say a massive HEY to everyone that finds my blog! If you are a photography client of mine, family, friend or just a curious passer by, please enjoy getting to know me as a twenty something year old, living in the great Algarve, striving everyday to build my business and to enlighten people on how wonderful life in the Algarve truly is.
Get to know a little bit more about me:
Growing up in the UK and Portugal has certainly been a great adventure, from the minute I left the grey skies of England behind I knew my life was going to change. Although my dad is Portuguese i didn’t know as much as I should have about this fantastic country or the language!
Luckily for me, a year after we arrived in the picturesque village of Carvoeiro my parents put me in a portuguese school – which sorted the language barrier.
The immediate differences I remember and still notice in the Algarve are the different smells, the refreshing views, the hot summer days and nights, the distinct cobbled roads and the relaxed way of life. My life became school during term time and the beach during the summer holidays (what a dream!!) Everything sun, sea and sand is all about.
After finishing school at age 18 I was curious to venture back to the UK to take up my passion for photography and decided to do a three year degree with Bournemouth University.
After plenty of work experience, hard work, lots of laughs, quite a few tears, excitement and my graduation, I threw myself into photographing in the place I love best – Portugal. I could not wait to get back! I have been working all over the Algarve with different couples, families, property owners, hotels and magazines giving them high quality images and a great photography experience since 2013.
This blog aims to give any of my past, present and future clients a look at who I am as a person and as a photographer. It is also to encourage anyone looking to get married, coming on holiday or even moving here to just go for it! Giving you a very close up and experienced view on everything Portugal related.
Take a look at my work space – I love it to be tidy, warm, organised and I must admit I need a cup of tea next to the computer with me at ALL times! This is where I spend ALOT of my time working to edit and deliver your beautiful photographs
My camera equipment packed away, fully charged and ready to go for my next shoot! Yes – I am a CANON lover.
Me in action! Also, look at that scenery…
